Back StoryI have been in and out of 'make money online' for around 26 years.
While I have made a few dollars here and there, overall, I have failed relentlessly.
Domain renewal is coming up...
Chase the dollar - looking for anything to pawn off for a quick commission.
Get no commissions. Lose the domain. Repeat that a bunch of times.
Then lose a hosting account - and all websites offline at the same time.
Give up - without giving up.
Create a new persona that is more giving and less focused on financial desperation.
Fail at that, also.
Want to give up so badly...
But I don't. Because I can't. Because I don't have it in me.
Try some more. Fail some more. You get the point.
Fast Forward to Today...
I get all of my domains at NameCheap and saw that they had a free hosting trial.
I never get domains and hosting in the same place, but I took the trial out of desperation.
30 days later, I am stressing, wondering where I'm gonna' get the money for the next month.
I logged into PayPal —knowing damned well that it was empty— and was shocked to see $6.83 in there from several weeks ago.
(I'm broke, so I do not log into my account that often)
I downgraded my hosting plan to the lowest level and was able to make the $5.88 payment.
Great! Now I have 30 days to come up with next month's money... 🤦♂️
A few days later, I was clicking around in LeadsLeap and noticed that the $7.40-something that was sitting there day dreaming about being cash-out worthy and sluggishly creeping toward it only pennies at a time had suddenly turned into $14.88.
Guess where that's going → NAMECHEAP!
So, I lucked out big time and ended up with hosting covered for three months.
And I'm NOT wasting it!
